Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation crew. You will work as part of a team to complete solar installation projects and guide fellow installers on a daily basis.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior solar installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to safety. You will mentor teammates, coordinate tasks, and support in battery installations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required or equivalent construction/military background.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Adhere to safety policies and encourage safe work.
• Able to lead and support crew members on installations.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock and ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, and electrical equipment.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures.
• Assemble racking and solar panels per project plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and perform site cleanup.
