Job summary
Sunrun Inc. is hiring a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation team. You will work with a crew to complete installation projects, guide fellow installers, and ensure safety and quality on site.
Responsibilities include stocking a crew truck, assembling modules and mounts, sealing roofs, and coordinating activities daily. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, solar installation experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to train and lead others while meeting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous solar installation experience required.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and be 21+ with a valid license.
- Comply with safety policies and identify hazards.
- Establish rapport with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to meet deadlines and metrics.
- Power+ cross-training across departments or similar skilled work.
Responsibilities
- Review inventory at loading dock and stock crew truck.
- Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, and electrical equipment.
- Apply weather sealing to roofing structures.
- Assemble racking and solar modules per project plan.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly job site.
- Lead crew to safe, efficient installations and provide guidance.
- Assist with solar battery installations when assigned.
- May serve as acting Foreperson in absence of forepersons.
