Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Lead Installer to join our solar installation team. You will work with a crew to complete residential solar projects, guiding and coordinating teammates daily. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship across installation tasks.

The ideal candidate has prior solar installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record, with willingness to participate in the Power+ program for cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience may be considered.
• Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.
• Lead crew through safe, effective and efficient installations.
• May serve as 'acting Foreperson' in the Forepersons' absence.
