Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance efforts across our operations in the United States. The role focuses on implementing safety directives, driving continuous improvement, and aligning policies with regulatory requirements.

The position involves collaboration with management and subcontractors to ensure a robust safety culture. The candidate will oversee safety programs, perform incident investigations, and communicate changes to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and provide strong leadership.
• Willing to travel 100%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support creation of safety and compliance strategy and goals.
• Ensure site leadership has activity-based safety goals for accountability.
• Supervise safety and compliance staff across the company.
• Develop safety programs and policies to reduce injuries.
• Communicate safety strategy to leadership and teams.
• Assist management with implementation of safety policies.
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance across sites.
• Provide training to supervisors and management on root cause analysis.
• Identify best practices and drive continuous safety improvements.
