Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an HSE Coordinator to lead safety inspections, training, and regulatory compliance across departments. The role supports OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements and helps minimize hazards in the field and shop environments.

The candidate will inspect facilities and equipment, investigate incidents, develop corrective actions, and administer training programs while maintaining records for compliance. A strong safety mindset and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of utility construction industry standards.
• Knowledge of laws, codes, regulations and government procedures.
• Knowledge of business and management principles for planning and resource coordination.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and evaluating customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on regulatory compliance with safety laws and company requirements.
• Inspect workplaces for hazards and ensure OSHA/DOT/Cinterra standards compliance.
• Investigate safety incidents and determine causes and corrective actions.
• Develop mitigation measures to reduce recurring hazards.
• Conduct safety training for supervisors and field staff.
• Maintain safety training records and documentation.
• Recommend safe work processes and appropriate PPE usage.
• Ensure tools and equipment meet safety and calibration requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
