Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Solar HSE Coordinator to enforce safety, health and environmental regulations across our solar construction projects. You will conduct inspections, investigations, training, and regulatory compliance supporting multiple departments.

The role requires OSHA/DOT/EPA awareness, field presence, and ability to develop mitigation actions. Travel is possible; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of utility construction industry standards.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Ability to analyze risks and develop corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections of facilities, tools and equipment.
• Investigate safety incidents and injuries to determine root causes.
• Develop mitigation measures to reduce recurring hazards.
• Deliver safety training to supervisory and field staff.
• Maintain safety records and documentation for compliance.
• Recommend safe work processes and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Verify that tools, equipment, and vehicles meet safety standards.
