Job summary

Cinterra in Virginia is seeking a Solar General Foreman to oversee the installation of solar modules, piles, and racking on large utility and commercial projects. You will lead a team of solar mechanical installers, ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and the ability to coordinate field activities, enforce safety, maintain documentation, and mentor crew members.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in solar mechanical installation in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• OSHA 30 or higher and comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations for solar installations.
• Ability to identify and resolve installation issues under pressure.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of solar mechanical installers and provide guidance throughout installation projects.
• Organize and coordinate installation to meet schedules and specifications.
• Ensure safety compliance through daily meetings and inspections.
• Monitor quality and enforce manufacturer requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and collaborate with team members.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and reporting.
