SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1, for full-time work on a Kirtland, NM jobsite. You will perform field maintenance and learn to follow safe work practices in the solar industry, with duties including equipment servicing and basic testing under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and documentation, while offering opportunities to grow skills through on-site experiences in diverse solar plants across the country.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; tech training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; safety-first mindset.
• Active NFPA 70e safety training certification required and kept current.
• Able to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and ensure all employees follow safe practices.
• Operate and maintain company equipment and tools on site.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar systems.
• Complete reports and documentation of work performed.
• Be on-call as directed for emergency repairs and site support.
