Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Hybrid Field Technician to support both pre-install surveys and post-install inspections for residential solar projects. You will visit customer homes, collect measurements, assess roof conditions, and document data for design and approvals.

This role requires comfort with ladders, rooftops, and variable outdoor conditions, plus a valid driver's license. Training is provided, and the position offers growth within a leading solar company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PV design and installation experience helpful with basic electrical theory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels to verify feasibility.
• Perform post-installation inspections and ensure readiness for AHJ or utility inspections.
• Coordinate with install teams and project managers to resolve inspection issues.
• Document inspection readiness with photos and notes to support readiness.
