Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Field Technician to support solar installation from site assessments to post-install inspections. You’ll follow intraday schedules, collect measurements, photos, and data to ensure designs meet standards.

The role requires comfort with roofs, ladders, and confined spaces; OSHA training is preferred; starting pay ranges per hour; opportunities to advance within Sunrun.

Qualifications

• PV design or installation experience preferred, with reading blueprints.
• Comfortable working on roofs and ladders, in tight spaces.
• Must meet safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to collect measurements and data for solar design.
• Assess roof conditions and electrical panels per standards.
• Climb ladders and walk rooftops for inspections.
• Submit survey data using mobile field tools.
• Perform post-installation inspections and check readiness for AHJ/utility.
• Ensure installations match plans and safety codes.
• Coordinate with install teams to resolve inspection issues.
• Provide documentation (photos, checklists) for readiness.
• Discuss installations with AHJ and customers.
• Schedule inspections with AHJ and customers.
