Job summary

South Platte Energy Storage is seeking a PV Solar Field Technician I (Advanced Level) in Fort Morgan, CO. The role focuses on operating and maintaining solar/battery storage systems to ensure reliability and performance.

The technician will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting, while collaborating with the ROI team and construction staff. Safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School grad or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in PV solar/battery systems preferred.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of PV solar and battery storage systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance including cleaning panels and replacing faulty components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with operations and construction teams on maintenance and commissioning.
• Generate reports and maintain records of inspections and activities.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
