NextEra Energy Resources in Tonopah, AZ seeks a PV Solar Field Technician II (Intermediate) to support battery storage and solar project operations on-site. You will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting to ensure reliable energy delivery.

As part of the ROI team, you’ll coordinate with operations and construction during installs, uphold safety standards, and stay current with industry best practices in energy storage technology.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 1+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• Trade School or Electrician licensure preferred
• Master Electrician licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of battery systems to identify and address maintenance or performance issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including cleaning panels and replacing faulty components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with operations to implement maintenance plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction during installation and commissioning of new projects.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and activities.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed at all times.
• Stay updated with industry trends in battery energy storage technology.
