Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. in Girvin, TX is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) to perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities.

This is a full-time role located on a jobsite, with a contingent start that may transition to permanent. The role requires self-sufficiency, strong electrical troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to work on-call at remote sites in extreme weather, while maintaining safety as the top priority.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow safety procedures to mitigate hazards.
• Identify energized and de-energized parts and safely de-energize sources.
• Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting on solar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair with minimal supervision.
• Operate monitoring applications and complete accurate time/material records.
• Provide on-call service at solar facilities.
• Supervise and train Solar Technician Level I staff.
• Create tickets from start to finish communicating work performed.
