Job summary

Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a Field Service Technician (Level 3) to perform preventative maintenance and respond to corrective cases on utility-scale solar PV systems in the Uvalde, TX area. The role requires on-site work, testing of DC/AC circuits, and a commitment to safety and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–4+ years PV maintenance experience, NABCEP certification or training, and familiarity with SCADA/DAS/UPS systems, with willingness to travel regionally and work on-call

Qualifications

• NABCEP Certification required or preferred.
• 3–4+ years PV maintenance experience.
• Experience with SCADA, DAS and UPS systems.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and design practices.
• Able to read single-line and three-line diagrams.
• OSHA 10 HR training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on utility-scale solar PV facilities.
• Respond to corrective maintenance and troubleshoot PV systems.
• Test DC/AC systems, polarity, insulation resistance and I-V curves.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, meters and spare parts inventory.
• Create service reports and on-call for emergencies as needed.
• Ensure safety practices and proper electrical standards.
