Job summary

Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a Field Service Technician (Level 3) in Uvalde, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance on solar PV systems and respond to corrective cases, ensuring safe and efficient operation of facilities.

The role requires PV maintenance experience, NABCEP certification, and the ability to travel to project sites across the region while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NABCEP certification required for installation professionals.
• 3–4+ years PV maintenance experience including PV DC/AC systems and monitoring.
• Experience with SCADA, DAS and UPS systems and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Respond to corrective maintenance and troubleshoot PV equipment.
• Test electrical circuits, polarity, grounding, insulation, and I-V curves.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and spare parts inventories.
• Create service reports and safety documentation.
• Work on-call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Travel to project sites within the region and maintain safety standards.
