Job summary

Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician (Level 3) to perform preventative maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems. The role requires troubleshooting, testing, and repair while following safe practices in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate has NABCEP certification and 3-4+ years PV maintenance experience, plus SCADA/DAS and UPS familiarity. Travel and on-call work are required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years PV maintenance experience.
• Experience with PV DC operations, AC MV systems, network communications and monitoring.
• Experience with SCADA, DAS and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance of solar PV facilities.
• Perform DC/AC testing, polarity checks, insulation resistance, IV curve tracing.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, meters, and spare parts inventory.
• Create service reports and downtime/operability reports.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed by supervisor.
