Job summary

Empower Home Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform residential solar service and warranty work in Phoenix, AZ, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer experience.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues on modules, monitoring systems (Enphase, Tesla, SolarEdge), and battery installations; travel to project locations as needed; document work in CRM and participate in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the Solar industry
• Solar service experience is required
• Solar Battery installation experience is required
• Knowledge with Enphase, Tesla and Solaredge monitoring systems
• Ability to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces)
• Capable of standing for long stretches of time and working at heights
• Must be willing to travel
• Current Driver’s license, and clean drivers abstract

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of service and warranty related projects
• Responsible for successfully completing quality audits post installation
• Responsible for Troubleshooting and resolving residential solar warranty and service issues that are triggered from modules, monitoring and storage/ batteries
• Investigate, mitigate and repair reported roof leaks
• Responsible for troubleshooting AC/DC systems
• Participate in weekly safety meetings as well as department meetings
• Completes all documents for each project and successfully closes cases/ tickets in CRM
• Perform other tasks and duties as required
