Job summary

Cypress Creek Renewables seeks a Field Service Technician for a remote role based with a home base in Kiowa, CO. The position requires 3–4+ years of PV maintenance experience, a valid Class A Journeyman Electrician license, NABCEP certification, and strong safety discipline.

Travel to project sites in the surrounding region is expected; on‑call duties and 8–10 hour days in the field are common. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this full‑time role.

Qualifications

• PV maintenance experience including DC operations.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical single‑line and three‑line diagrams.
• Proven diagnostic capabilities and testing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar PV facilities.
• Perform DC and AC testing, including polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, communication, insulation resistance testing, and IV curve tracing.
• Maintain the vehicle, tools, meters, and truck stock.
• Create service reports and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Identify safety hazards and take appropriate action to remove or eliminate them.
• Create operability and major issue/downtime reports.
• Respond on-call for emergencies as directed by supervisor.
