Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. in Kermit, TX is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance and learn to follow safe work practices in the solar industry. This is a full-time, on-site role at a jobsite with supervision.

You will assist with testing, repair, and replacement of solar equipment, complete required reports, and travel up to 10% for training and site coverage. A high school diploma or GED is required, with basic technical aptitude and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Mechanical/electrical environment experience or formal training.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the top priority and follows safe practices.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
