Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) to perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities. This full-time role is based on-site at Cantil, CA, with responsibilities including testing, diagnostics, and repair of solar equipment and electrical systems.

You will work with monitoring platforms and may provide on-call support as needed. Ideal candidates bring safety-focused experience, OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e certifications, and strong English

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• Must recognize work hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Identify energized/de-energized parts and safely de-energize sources before work.
• Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment knowledge.
• Lock Out/Tag Out procedures understanding.
• Ability to operate system monitoring applications.
• Comfort with following verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities with minimal supervision.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair solar equipment and electrical systems.
• Use system monitoring applications to identify issues and determine corrective actions.
• Document time and materials accurately; create tickets and communicate work completed.
• Operate service equipment safely and maintain records.
• Provide on-call support at solar facilities and collaborate with team.
