Zusammenfassung

The Solar Field Service Technician role at ACT Power Services, LLC focuses on safe, productive on-site operations at Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants. You will support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across modules, trackers, inverters, and medium-voltage equipment while learning through the ACTivate Technician Track.

The position is field-based, with sites across the United States and travel ~20%–dependent on operational needs.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months to 1 year of field experience in solar, electrical, or related technical trades.
• Qualified Electrical Worker sign-off, or ability to obtain within onboarding period.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings identifying components and BoS equipment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid Driver's License; travel ~20% and on-call requirements.
• FAA Part 107 certification and ACT High Voltage/Medium Voltage training in progress.

Aufgaben

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything you do.
• Assist routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of solar facilities.
• Perform string-level troubleshooting, tracker inspections, and basic maintenance.
• Conduct routine vegetation and site equipment inspections, including monthly checks.
• Log service reports, inspections, safety paperwork, and inventory; use Fiix/Deputy tools.
• Coordinate warranty claims with equipment vendors as needed.
