Job summary

Sol-Up is seeking a Solar Service Technician to join our Reno operations team. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on solar panels and systems, including rooftops and ground-mounted installations, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

This role requires hands-on electrical experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to customer service and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years electrical repair experience.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on solar panels and systems with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar panels and systems in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
• Ensure that work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with customers professionally and provide progress updates.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, organized work site and tools.
• Attend training sessions on new products and safety.
