Sol-Up in Reno, NV is seeking a Solar Service Technician to join our Operations team. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on solar panels and systems on rooftops and ground-mounted installations, ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has solar industry experience, electrical skills, and a passion for renewable energy. This full-time role offers fieldwork, training, and opportunities to advance within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of electrical systems and repair experience, preferably in the solar industry.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred or required where applicable.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on solar panels and systems with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar panels and systems in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, following regulations.
• Communicate with customers professionally and provide updates on progress.
