Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support senior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on PV panels, trackers, and inverters, ensuring reliability and safety across the site.

The role requires basic knowledge of electrical power systems, use of hand tools, CMMS, and a commitment to safety. Relocation or travel may be required within 60 miles of the site.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of electrical power systems and safety practices.
• Follows site safety plan and uses hand tools effectively.
• Experience with CMMS and inventory management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining solar facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on on-site assets.
• Interface with stakeholders and subcontractors in a professional manner.
• Respond to emergency calls within 1.5 hours as prioritized by Operations Control Center.
