Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State electrical certification or license (Journeyman/Wireman or equivalent) required.
• 4+ years of electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments
• Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring NEC and utility requirements
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation
• Follow safety procedures including PPE usage and lockout/tagout processes
• Respond to emergency service calls and warranty-related repairs
• Communicate with homeowners and customers regarding system status and repair recommendations
• Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites
