Job summary

Otovo is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage, and generators. You will work hands-on with electrical equipment, read schematics, and ensure safety compliance on job sites.

Applicants should have 4+ years of electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and NEC knowledge. Travel locally and overtime may be required. NABCEP not required but helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; journeyman license preferred.
• 4+ years electrical experience with strong NEC knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with electrical diagnostic tools and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar systems, inverters, batteries, and generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades per NEC and utility rules.
• Maintain service records and documentation with accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and customers about status and recommendations.
• Travel locally to customer sites and work overtime as needed.
