Job summary

Otovo SRL is hiring a Field Service Technician to service and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage, and generators. You will work on-site, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical issues, and ensure safety and compliance on every installation.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, strong problem solving, and excellent customer communication while supporting clean energy adoption in local communities, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of NEC, AHJ, and interconnection requirements.
• State-required electrical certification or license (Journeyman, Wireman, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments.
• Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring NEC/compliance.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service calls and warranty repairs as needed.
