Job summary

SunStrong Management LLC is seeking a Technician 3 to diagnose and troubleshoot solar systems, lead field crews on service work, and support Tech 1 and Tech 2 teams. The role requires strong leadership, roof and electrical competency, and a focus on safe, high-quality first-pass resolution.

Responsibilities include diagnosing inverter failures, addressing system underperformance, and ensuring excellent customer service while coordinating on-site activities and safety practices.

Qualifications

2+ years of solar experience.
Proven troubleshooting capability.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license (subject to driver record check).
Crew Lead for solar service work.
Roof and electrical competent.
Solar diagnostics and repair expert.
Authorized for battery (ESS) work.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve solar system issues, including inverter failures and underperformance.
Lead crews on service jobs and direct support Tech 1 and Tech 2 team members.
Ensure high-quality work and first-pass resolution.
Collaborate with team to plan site visits and customer communication.
Safely manage field operations and onsite safety procedures.
