Job summary

IronRidge, Inc is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to drive technical sales support across the Eastern United States, with significant travel to the Northeast. You will demonstrate products, support customers, and coordinate training and curriculum development for new products.

The role requires 3–5 years in related roles or a bachelor’s degree, travel about 50%, and familiarity with Salesforce and Excel. OSHA 10 is listed as a requirement, with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50% with 5–10 overnights per month.
• Public speaking and customer-facing communication.
• Experience with Salesforce and Excel is a plus.
• Solar layout/design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical visits, trainings, and events.
• Generate training reports for customer engagements.
• Coordinate on-the-ground OJT for opportunities.
• Provide product feedback to engineering and product teams.
• Document application support inquiries and calls.
• Develop curriculum for new products and training content.
• Maintain up-to-date records and report market changes.
• Prepare PV layouts to support sales and end users.
• Report on competitive landscape and market trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
