Job summary

IronRidge, Inc. is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to drive technical sales in the Eastern U.S. with travel about 50% and 5–10 overnights monthly.

The role focuses on product applications, demonstrations, joint calls with sales, and on-site training to expand market reach. Responsibilities include planning visits, compiling training reports, coordinating on-site training, and providing product feedback for improvements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and government regulations
• Ability to write reports and procedures
• Ability to travel ~50% with 5–10 overnight trips per month
• Familiarity with Salesforce and MS Excel, and solar layout/design knowledge
• Experience presenting to small and large groups; OSHA 10 required
• Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events and trainings
• Generate training reports for customer and sales engagements
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new opportunities on ground and rooftop
• Provide feedback to engineering/product teams for improvements
• Maintain records and report changes in weekly meetings
• Design PV layouts in IronRidge and other software to support sales
• Document application support questions and calls
