Blattner Company is seeking a Manager I – Solar Estimating to lead the preconstruction estimating team through every stage of the bidding process for utility-scale solar projects. This role ensures bid accuracy, technical compliance and competitive pricing while coordinating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction and Business Development to craft winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction related discipline.
• 5+ years of preconstruction and/or construction experience or equivalent in estimating, project management, and contract negotiations.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preconstruction estimating team through all bidding stages to ensure bid accuracy and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate estimating procedures and preconstruction activities with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction and Business Development to develop winning proposals.
• Mentor estimators, review estimates, evaluate project risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvements to preconstruction processes.
• Facilitate transition of awarded projects from estimating to operations by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, engineers and clients.
