Blattner Company is seeking a Manager I – Solar Estimating to lead the preconstruction estimating team for utility-scale solar bids. You will ensure bid accuracy, technical compliance, and competitive pricing while coordinating with multiple departments to develop winning proposals.

You will mentor estimators, review estimates, assess project risks, and drive improvements in preconstruction processes. Remote-friendly role with nationwide eligibility, compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading estimating or preconstruction teams for utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of estimating methodologies and project execution.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preconstruction estimating team through bidding process ensuring bid accuracy and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate estimating procedures across Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Business Development.
• Oversee transition of awarded projects from estimating to operations with subcontractors and vendors.
• Mentor estimators, review estimates, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations and establish project execution strategies.
