Job summary

Rethink Electric is seeking a Construction Manager / Solar Superintendent to lead day-to-day field execution of commercial and industrial solar EPC projects in the Illinois region. You will direct foremen, electricians, and crews, translating schedules, drawings, and specs into safe, on-time field work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial/industrial solar or related construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Superintendent or similar field leadership.
• Proven experience leading commercial/industrial solar EPC projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities for solar EPC projects.
• Direct foremen, electricians, crews, and subcontractors on site.
• Set daily/weekly priorities and ensure schedule adherence.
• Coordinate sequencing to minimize downtime and conflicts.
• Ensure work meets drawings, specs, safety, and quality requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quantities, manpower, and reporting.
• Coordinate with PM, Engineering, Safety, and Procurement.
• Drive safety culture and conduct toolbox talks.
