Job summary
Rethink Electric in Wood Dale, IL seeks a Construction Manager / Solar Superintendent to lead field execution on commercial and industrial solar EPC projects. You will translate drawings, specs, and schedules into safe, efficient daily work and manage foremen, electricians, and subcontractors.
You will collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Safety, and Procurement to plan resources, monitor progress, and drive on-time completion while upholding quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in commercial/industrial electrical or related construction.
- Minimum 5 years in Superintendent or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience leading solar EPC projects.
- OSHA 30 certification required; NABCEP a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field construction activities for solar EPC projects.
- Direct foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Engineering, Safety, Procurement.
- Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Drive production against schedule and milestones.
- Coordinate field execution with other trades.
- Oversee commissioning and turnover preparation.
