Job summary

Ethical Energy Solar is seeking a Solar Energy Advisor to generate leads, qualify prospects, and tailor proposals for homes. You will travel to meet customers, assess sites, and design customized solar solutions that fit energy needs and budgets.

You’ll work with a team to develop marketing plans, build relationships, and close deals while participating in a fast-growing solar industry. Training is provided, with uncapped earning potential through base pay plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Generate solar energy leads and build new accounts through outreach.

• Match customers with appropriate solar products based on energy needs and site conditions.
• Perform on-site assessments to determine feasibility of solar installations.
• Estimate solar production considering climate, shading, and roof orientation.
• Create energy management packages that maximize savings for clients.
• Develop marketing strategies to reach target customers.

Location: York, PA & Pittsburgh, PA (Remote but must be able to travel to office)
Schedule: Full-time | Make your own schedule and hours
Compensation: Base + Commission (Top advisors earn $300k+)

What You’ll Do

• Generate solar energy leads and develop new accounts through outreach, networking, and relationship building.
• Gather customer info and prepare polished proposals, quotes, contracts, and presentations tailored to each home.
• Match customers with the right solar products, systems, or services based on energy needs, site conditions, budget, and preferences.
• Conduct on-site assessments using tools like tape measures, compasses, and specialized software to determine solar feasibility.
• Calculate potential solar production for each property — factoring in climate, shading, and roof orientation.
• Create customized energy management packages that deliver maximum value and savings.
• Develop marketing strategies and outreach plans to connect with target customers.
