Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Non-Certified Electrician to lead residential solar system installations and battery integrations while ensuring compliance with NEC and state codes. You will work with PV installation crews, support upgrades, and contribute to safe, reliable energy solutions for homeowners.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, electrical experience up to 600 VDC/480 VAC, and willingness to pursue state certification as required. Travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess 75% of the hours required to sit for state specific electrical certification exams.
• Electrical installation and repair experience.
• Wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC experience.
• Experience replacing residential services and panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect solar arrays to the grid at residential sites.
• Ensure work meets NEC and local codes.
• Plan and complete solar battery installations and MPUs per state requirements.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Collaborate with branch teams and homeowners for upgrades/repairs.
• Coordinate with local inspectors to meet requirements.
• Uphold OSHA standards in PV installations and safety practices.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Travel up to 5%.
