Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Certified Electrician to install solar systems and storage for residential customers. You will connect solar arrays to the grid, perform battery installations, and troubleshoot electrical issues across projects.

Responsibilities include collaborating with local teams, upgrading panels, and ensuring safety on rooftops in varying weather conditions. Travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and repair experience required.
• Wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
• Valid Journeyman license or electrician certification required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Safety and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to customer grids.
• Ensure workmanship meets NEC and local codes.
• Complete solar battery installations as assigned.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and system problems.
• Plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Coordinate with branch teams and homeowners for upgrades/repairs.
