Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Non-Certified Electrician to lead residential solar and battery system installations, ensuring safety and code compliance. This role partners with PV crews, supports commissioning, and may lead the crew in the foreman's absence.

You will work across states with NEC knowledge, install MPUs, diagnose electrical issues, and coordinate with inspectors and homeowners. Travel up to 5% and a path toward state certification is available.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must complete 75% of hours to sit for state electrical certification exams.
Experience with wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
Experience replacing residential services and distribution panels preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Lead installation of electrical systems interconnecting the solar array to the grid at residential properties.
Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
Safely plan and complete solar battery installations and MPUs per state requirements.
Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
Collaborate with branch team and homeowners for upgrades/repairs.
Work with local inspectors to meet requirements.
Demonstrate OSHA safety knowledge and enforce practices.
Travel up to 5% as needed.
