Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Certified Electrician to install solar systems and support existing customers. You'll work on residential projects, perform battery installations, and gain exposure to energy storage technologies and new systems.

Responsibilities include leading interconnection of solar arrays to the grid, ensuring code-compliant workmanship, and coordinating with inspectors and homeowners. A Journeyman license and a valid driver's license are required, with travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and repair experience required.
• Wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC experience preferred.
• Valid Journeyman License or Electrician Certification required.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Safety and customer focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to the grid at customer residences.
• Ensure workmanship complies with NEC and local codes.
• Complete solar battery installations as assigned.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Coordinate with branch team and homeowners for upgrades/repairs.
• Liaise with local inspectors to meet requirements.
• 5% travel may be required.
