Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. is hiring a Non-Certified Electrician to lead residential solar and battery installations. You will ensure NEC and local code compliance, plan battery and MPU work, and collaborate with PV crews and inspectors to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong electrical installation experience, state certification readiness, and a clean driving record. Travel may be involved as part of project execution.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess 75% of hours required to sit for state electrical certification exams.
Electrical installation and repair experience required.
Experience wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar array to the grid power of the customer's residential property.
Ensure work performed is in accordance with NEC and local codes and safety standards.
Plan and complete solar battery installations and MPUs as required by state certification requirements.
Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues; coordinate with inspectors and branch teams.
Assist with system upgrades/repairs and support PV installation crew as needed.
