Aleut Corporation is seeking an Electrician Apprentice in Fairbanks, Alaska. This entry‑level role focuses on renewable energy installations, including solar systems, battery storage, and related residential wiring.

You will work under a licensed Journeyman Electrician, gaining hands-on skills, safety training, and code compliance experience on Alaska projects. The position offers full‑time hours, a 4x10 shift schedule, and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Alaska Electrical Apprentice License or ability to obtain before start date.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate within 2 weeks of hire.
• Availability to work 4x10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wiring, conduit bending, equipment mounting, and site prep under supervision.
• Support Journeyman Electricians with installation of residential solar panels and battery systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with documentation, inventory, and photo records of job sites.
• Support vehicle maintenance, inspections, and readiness for service.
