Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. seeks an Electrical Apprentice for a remote/rotational construction project in Alaska. The role focuses on assisting the Journeyman with installation, wiring, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems in a brown-field petrochemical environment.

The project duration is about one year with 84 hours per week including overtime. Start is anticipated October/November 2026. Company-sponsored benefits include disability, life insurance, paid sick leave, and a 4.5% 401(k)

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABC Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• Current Alaska State Fitness Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver's license with insurability.
• NSTC certification or training available through Worley.
• Minimum 4,000 hours electrical experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrical Journeyman with setup, maintenance, and installation of industrial electrical equipment.
• Learn to bend, cut, thread and install conduit.
• Assist in pulling MC-HL cable and installation.
• Install and terminate wiring.
• Follow NEC codes and NFPA70E standards.
• Operate tools and equipment safely on site.
• Participate in Toolbox meetings.
• Comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
