Job summary
Team Sunshine Construction is seeking a Solar Electrical Apprentice to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar electrical systems.
You will work alongside experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience while following safety protocols and delivering quality workmanship.
The role emphasizes integrating solar systems with building electricals, solving technical issues, and communicating clearly with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Journeyman license in progress required; OSHA 10 certification required.
- Experience with solar panel installation and maintenance preferred.
- Understanding of electrical codes and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair solar panels and related equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems for safety and compliance during installations.
- Connect solar power systems to building electrical systems (AC/DC, conduits, junction boxes).
- Troubleshoot solar systems and diagnose issues.
- Communicate with customers to explain system functionality and status.
