Job summary

Aleut Corporation in Fairbanks, AK is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to learn the electrical trade with a focus on renewable energy (solar and battery storage) and specialty residential systems. You will assist with wiring, conduit bending, mounting, and site prep under a licensed Journeyman Electrician.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, job-site safety, code compliance, and delivering high-quality service to clients across Alaska.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid State of Alaska Electrical Apprentice License (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Availability to work 4x10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Electricians with installation, wiring of residential solar panels and systems.
• Measure, cut, bend conduit and pull wire under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site and support documentation.
• Interact professionally with homeowners and team members.
• Attend safety meetings and progress apprenticeship hours.
