Job summary

Team Sunshine Construction, LLC is seeking a Solar Electrical Apprentice to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar electrical systems. You will work alongside experienced electricians and technicians to gain hands-on experience in the solar industry while contributing to safe, effective solar solutions.

The role emphasizes a strong electrical background, familiarity with AC/DC circuits, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

Journeyman license in progress and OSHA 10 required.
Experience with solar panel installation and maintenance is a plus.
Understanding of electrical systems and codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Electrical Wiring: Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards. Connect solar power systems to building electrical systems.
System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar systems.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols while working with electrical components.
AC System Integration: Integrate solar systems with existing AC systems, grid-tied and hybrid.
Customer Communication: Address inquiries and explain system functionality.
