Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Solar Electrical Foreman to lead skilled electricians in installation and maintenance of electrical systems. You will supervise shift teams, drive safety, and ensure quality while coordinating with project plans.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, trade certification, and a valid driver\'s license. Proficiency reading plans and strong teamwork are essential. English required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma preferred.
• Current driver\'s license required.
• Ability to read plans and understand drawings.
• Strong teamwork and safety orientation.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision for the Electrical/foreman team.
• Lead with safety and quality, ensuring regulatory and company policy compliance.
• Develop work instructions and cross-training plans.
• Provide on-the-job training and lead by example.
• Drive continuous improvement of KPIs (Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost).
• Adjust schedules and workload balance as required.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate reorders as needed.
• Utilize lean methodologies to meet production goals.
• Own the functions of the facility and perform other duties as assigned.
