Mortenson Construction seeks a Solar Electrical Foreman to lead an electrical craft team in Jacksonville, FL, delivering skilled installation and maintenance of electrical systems. The role emphasizes planning, safety, and teamwork while coordinating with project trades and ensuring quality workmanship.

The candidate will interpret plans, supervise field tasks, and mentor crew members to meet project targets, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma required.
• Current driver's license.
• English speaking/reading ability; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate construction tools and equipment listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems.
• Study plans and drawings to determine work requirements and sequence.
• Organize work by reviewing work orders and gathering tools.
• Read prints, layout work, and install service.
• Repair electrical problems by replacing faulty parts.
• Maintain electrical systems with system tests and preventive maintenance.
• Lead team members by example with coaching and feedback.
• Maintain safe work environment in compliance with codes and standards.
