Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to coordinate and supervise electricians and crews on solar project sites. You will work with the Electrical Superintendent on scheduling, material sizing, and site utilization while guiding teams to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires five years of construction/supervision experience, travel up to 100%, and a current driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Detail orientation to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office, project management tools, and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical scope work on solar projects and supervise crews.
• Collaborate with Electrical Superintendent on material sizing and site utilization.
• Develop project schedules and 3-week look-ahead, monitor progress and resources.
• Lead and mentor electrical team, ensure quality control and safety compliance.
• Participate in meetings, coordinate with field engineers, contractors and craft workers.
