Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Electrical General Foreman to coordinate crews, provide technical guidance, and manage materials for project teams. You will plan, organize, and direct foremen and craft members per schedule and regulatory requirements.

You will lead safety-focused teams, develop work instructions, train staff, and drive continuous improvement of KPIs while balancing schedules and resources on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma.
• Current driver's license.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus; read plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision for the assembly/manufacturing team members.
• Lead production team with focus on safety and quality and compliance.
• Develop work instructions and cross-training plans.
• Provide on-the-job training and lead by example.
• Drive continuous improvement of plant KPIs (Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost).
• Adjust schedules and workload balance as required by the operation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders.
• Utilize lean methodologies to reach production goals.
• Take ownership of functions and the facility.
