Job summary

The Moss Field Project Engineer Energy Electrical role supports the Solar Electrical Superintendent on large utility-scale solar projects across multiple states. You will assist with contract administration, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and safety compliance while coordinating with field staff and vendors.

Ideal candidates have a minimum solar internship or project engineer experience, strong computer skills with PM software, and excellent communication to engage with owners, A/E teams,

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year minimum Solar internship or full-time experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer, or electrical foreman in the construction industry
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with construction project management applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team members
• Basic finance skills are required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project start-up by engaging in startup checklist, mobilization, subcontractor & vendor selection, milestones, and schedule development
• Develop submittal log, fabrication & delivery schedule, confirm delivery of materials and review submittals
• Coordinate construction activities, conduct pre-construction meetings, track activity logs, ensure safety and QC
• Administer RFI, change order, and project status documentation processes
